Old St. Peter's Church has historically been home to family members of many Christian doctrines. The fundamental principle that has been our guide is that of the Holy Trinity - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is through our belief in the love of our Heavenly Father, our blessed redemption by His Son, and guidance through the indwelling of His Holy Spirit that we are able to be here today to witness to you God's boundless love, wondrous grace and merciful reconciliation.
We warmly welcome you to join us in worship

Old St. Peter's Church was the first church built in Tacoma in 1873 and is now Tacoma's oldest existing building. We are a Traditional Anglican/Episcopal Church with two services per Sunday, Bible Studies on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We support FISH Foodbanks, Fisher House for Military Families, The Tacoma Rescue Mission and others. Our faith is based on the Bible, the Nicene and Apostle's Creeds, and two millennia of church history and traditions. Never should our traditions (as beloved as they are) inhibit the Gospel of our Lord! We use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer as the standard for our worship and truly invite you to join us! |
